Designer genes

Inspired by various scientific elements and processes, the new Chroma pattern from Trove, New York, features a dramatic continuum of colors flashing one after another to create a strand of DNA. Each blur of color is actually a photograph of a person that has been pushed to the extremes until it has lost all of its detail or identity and becomes a passing flash of color.

Chroma features the company’s signature scale, which repeats at 12 feet high and 6 feet wide.  The eco-friendly, recyclable wallcovering has high-quality, non-toxic wax-based coatings and archival inks with a lifespan of 140 years.
